Location and rate.
Room was not real dirty, but not real clean either. Some electrical outlets did not work. Stairways were very dirty - e.g., papers, cigarette butts, bags of de-icer, Free breakfast was terrible unless all you wanted was coffee and donuts. One bite of the "eggs" and I went out to the diner nearby for some decent food.

Thoroughly enjoyed quiet queen room with a jacuzzi, felt like we were home. The location was marvellous and perfect near the event we was attending, right next to a motorway.

The hotel's location was magnificent, close enough to restaurants, stores, pharmacies, a bar and 5-6 good eateries. The breakfast for vegans. The personnel were hard-working and brilliantly helpful. It was reasonably priced and quiet and we will be back.

I truly enjoyed pretty friendly and accommodating employees!
Had a really great stay for my business trip, glad I've chosen it. Had marvellous and ideal location near the event I was attending. Plus, Niagara Golf Trail was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Front desk service was poor. Hostess took multiple telephone calls while a line of guests were waiting at the desk. The entire floor and room reeked of smoke. The blanket and comforter had cigarette burn holes in it. When i complained to the front desk, I was given a can of air freshener (which the can didn't spray). Again complaining, I was told that someone would come up to clean the room. Their idea of cleaning the room was a new can of air freshener. The beds were hard as a rock and we used sweatshirts as pillows since the pillow cases reeked as well. Never again! The owners should be ashamed of themselves.

The front desk staff was helpful when we encountered an issue with our first pet-friendly room. The hotel is close to a lovely creek, and we enjoyed seeing the geese around. The fitness center was a nice bonus too!
the landscaping could use a bit more attention.

Nice room with good southwesterly view. Mini-fridge and microwave were very useful. Appreciate being able to leave Do Not Disturbed card out on the door for the whole week and not having to had the room cleaned until I left. Also appreciated being able to bring in my own exercise equipment.
As with most hotels, I didn't like the very spongy pillows. I prefer denser, less yielding pillows. My main complaint was that there was no information posted at the front desk about their rates policy and the interaction with Booked.net. I also did not receive any information upon checking in. Consequently, there were a number of unnecessary surprises and disagreements with hotel management -- and not just with me. Other people were annoyed as well. One person even accused them of price gauging and taking advantage of people staying there because of power lost from the recent storm. But my criticism is only that their policies were not clearly detailed and provided up-front.

That there was only one ice machine and the vending machines did not work. I asked for a smoking room and was given a non smoking when I went to the desk the guy said it was ok asked for a ash tray and he told me to use a cup. Also found dirty cups and beer bottles in the room. Had to reclean the room myself.

I had a fantastic stay here, enjoying the close proximity to Indian Rock, just a 15-minute walk away, perfect for a scenic stroll, and the cozy dining options like AJ's Sushi & Cajun Seafood, only a few steps from the hotel, made exploring local flavors easy.

HoJo Tradition, value, convenience and breakfast choices (fruit, juice, coffee, bagels, and especially waffle/waffle maker was appreciated).
Breakfast choices did not appear to favor senior citizens: E.G. cold cereal - no bran flakes (sugared corn? Instead), no bran muffins (blue berry instead), no hot oatmeal, etc.
